Before I knew it, 2025 has already passed.
Looking back at the blog’s timeline, I realized—I actually wrote quite a lot this year.
Although many times I just wrote whatever came to mind, looking back, each post genuinely recorded the state of this year.
Consider this a year-end summary for myself, and for those of you who frequently visit the blog.
What did the blog cover this year?
If I were to summarize the blog content of 2025 with a few keywords, it would probably be:
Tech Tinkering + Anime/ACG + Daily Musings
Tech-related, still quite a lot of writing
This year, tech-related content still accounted for a large portion of the blog, and I continue to write about many projects each year. Mainly focused on:
- Implementing an automated internationalization solution for the blog
- Currently, I’ve also written a small web3 blockchain gadget that hasn’t been released yet.
- MoeKoe Music has also been maintained for over a year, with over 50 versions cumulatively released.
- Various projects, big and small, that are tool-oriented or fan-oriented.
- Involving a bit of hardware gadgets.

Anime/ACG & Reviews, also written with joy
This year, I also wrote a lot of anime/ACG-related content, such as:
- Unboxing of figures from a certain anime/mobile game
- Personal interpretations of certain characters, plot points, and random thoughts after watching
- Thoughts after watching, where I “couldn’t help but say something”
For something like “Spice and Wolf”, I was truly invested when writing, a tear for every line. These articles are usually not meant to be “professionally analytical”, but rather:
“This plot point hit me hard, and I wanted to write it down.”
About the blog itself
- Next year will mark the blog’s tenth anniversary, and a mysterious event will be coming.
- This year, I also achieved the milestone of being a full-stack engineer with ten years of programming experience.
- MoeKoe Music, released around the same time last year, has already reached 4.5K stars this year.
- Finally, the blog’s internationalization solution is live.
- Most acquaintances in the blogging community have become annual bloggers (i.e., post once a year).
Sometimes an article might not be long, nor necessarily systematic, but as long as it solves a problem or expresses an idea, it’s worth keeping.
And the more I write, the more I realize:
The greatest value of a blog is actually for your future self.

Things I didn’t get to do this year
Of course, not all plans were completed:
- Some content I wanted to write as a series ended up with only one or two posts.
- Some holes were dug, but not filled.
- Occasionally, I’d be lazy, delay updates, or even not want to write for a period.
But I’ve long since come to terms with it. A blog isn’t a KPI, nor a to-do list; the ability to keep writing itself is already a win over many “plans”.
A small expectation for 2026
No grand goals, just a few simple points:
- Continue the habit of blogging
- Tech content to be more practical, less superficial
- Anime/ACG and personal thoughts, write whenever I feel like it
- The blog remains a blog, not a source of pressure
If one day something I write, happens to help someone, or makes someone feel “Ah, I have the same feeling,” then it’s quite worth it.
Finally
The blog in 2025 was probably:
Imperfect, but very real.
Thank you for occasionally clicking in to read this year, and thank myself for not abandoning this blog.
In 2026, I’ll continue to write slowly.
