Today is 1024 Programmer’s Day. On this day belonging to code and coffee, bugs and hotfixes, let’s pay tribute to all engineers still struggling with code.

💻 Daily Work Life

Wishing everyone a new year where— All bugs are reproducible, The test environment never equals production.

Requirements are changed again and again, Product managers are always “thinking it over again”.

Every deployment is like a gamble, Every rollback is like fighting a fire.

VPN won’t connect, Git conflicts are constant, Jenkins goes on strike every day.

Code reviews get pushback, interface documentation always misses a page. Deployed in the morning, complained about by the customer in the afternoon.

🪑 Office Ecosystem

There’s always a salesperson on the phone next to your cubicle, Your access card won’t let you in, But your cubicle is always the furthest from the restroom.

996 is nothing, 007 is the norm. Meetings in the morning, meetings in the afternoon, And a review meeting in the evening.

🔧 Overtime is So Good

The boss says “this is very simple”, But you’re still modifying it at 3 AM.

Salary doesn’t increase, hair falls out rapidly, and the computer is still slow. Requirements are unclear, time is insufficient, and all the responsibility is yours.

No one understands the code you write, All the code you modify is a source of blame.

The feature you just finished writing was cut, The feature you just deleted needs to be added back.

🧠 Classic Dialogues

You say “this can’t be done”, They say “everyone else can do it”. You say “this has risks”, They say “just deploy it first”. You say “this takes time”, They say “it needs to go live tomorrow”.

🎉 Final Blessings

May your code be bug-free, Deployments don’t blow up, The boss doesn’t rush you, And your salary doubles! 💰

May every line of code you write be respected, And every overtime hour be worth it. — Happy Programmer’s Day to all ❤️

📅 Written at the End

October 24th is Programmer’s Day. Because “1024 = 2¹⁰”, symbolizing the binary world of programmers.

Today, whether you’re writing code, fixing bugs, or pulling an all-nighter for deployment, You deserve respect and understanding.

Hats off to every one of you who supports the world with a keyboard.
